Minecraft PE Installed? Empty Minecraft PE Installed?

I want to run the server on an extra tablet I have laying around. I installed and started the server on that tablet but on my other tablet that has Minecraft PE installed, I don't see the server. Do I have to install Minecraft on the tablet that is running the server?
